TRADITIONAL IRA

Traditional IRAs (individual retirement accounts) allow individuals to contribute pre-tax dollars to a retirement account where investments grow tax-deferred until withdrawal during retirement. Upon retirement, withdrawals are taxed at the IRA owner's current income tax rate.

ROTH IRA

A Roth IRA is an Individual Retirement Account to which you contribute after-tax dollars. While there are no current-year tax benefits, your contributions and earnings can grow tax-free, and you can withdraw them tax- and penalty-free after age 59½ and once the account has been open for five years.

SEP IRA

A Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) plan provides business owners with a simplified method to contribute toward their employees' retirement as well as their own retirement savings. Contributions are made to an Individual Retirement Account or Annuity (IRA) set up for each plan participant.
Typically a small business or self-employed individual makes retirement plan contributions into a traditional IRA established in the employee's name.

SIMPLE IRA

SIMPLE IRA, which stands for Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees Individual Retirement Accounts, is employer-sponsored. This means it is offered to employees through a business. These types of retirement plans are made specifically for small businesses with 100 or fewer employees. Your employees can participate in the plan if they made at least $5,000 during any two previous years and expect to make that much in the current year.
